Music:Popular Mechanics For Lovers-Beulah-The Coast Is Never Clear.
Just because he loves you too
He would never take a bullet for you
Don’t believe a word he says
He would never cut his heart out for you

I heard he wrote you a song
But so what
Some guy wrote 69
And one just ain’t enough

I start getting into both The Magnetic Fields and Beulah at the same time, only to find that Beulah pretty beautifully references "69 Love Songs" in one of their best songs.

Music:Urinetown Soundtrack - Cop Song.
In this, my last few days of the semester, and exactly a week before I am no longer a teenager, it is an appropriate time for reflection. However, I should be doing my Precis paper or stupid Music Review for Stupid Bidios which I should be stupid done with but I'm too busy being a stupid. This has been a rough semester, maybe my roughest. I've felt completely on my own throughout, and I've made it through. (Pat, pat). I'm okay. It's all going to be okay.

Cast List went up for Urinetown today. It is... interesting. I'm playing Officer Lockstock, and I'm very excited to tackle a role completely different from what I usually play. However, I find I can never be happy when I'm cast in TU shows anymore, because I'm usually too busy being upset over the people not cast. It just gets me so pissed off how we always hear what a "rapidly growing" department we are, and the faculty can't think to increase the oppurtunities to accomodate this rapid growth. It's ridiculous some of the people not cast in this show, and not cast yet. Some of the hardest working people I know have yet to be cast, and it pisses me off. A lot of the choices on the list, an omissions, made me confused to the point of thinking that actual mistakes MUST have been made, which I've never really experienced. This department frustrates me to know end, and it's mostly because I do love it so much, and know it could be so much better.

Well, just popped the Adderol so I can do this Precis paper and the others mentioned above. Don't worry, folks, this has got to be the last pill-popping for me, because then the semester is almost OVER. I'm so excited for my last Tomi Casciero class ever.

I live a dangerous life. I'm kind of dating someone whose on probation. I've been living on $50 every two weeks and trips to SAMS club with my parents. Wow. I am immediately ashamed for considering my life anywhere close to what could be described as "dangerous."

I'm really, really, really going to miss Voice 2. I haven't been able to suggest any pieces to Erin for the showcase, because I look at so many of them as my babies. I'm so astounded and in awe of the art we were able to create, and the sides of people I got to see. GOOD CLASS.

Goals for Summer:
Catch Up On Lost
Watch The Godfather Trilogy
Get a Job (I'm really liking this order)
Write jokes
Perhaps finish something I start to write?

How am I going to do two more years of this shit?

Music:Sullen Girl-Fiona Apple-Tidal.
The only real change in myself that has occured as a direct result of living with a gay man is that now I really, really like Fiona Apple. Like, for serious. And now I'm planning to go see her at Wolf Trap this summer.

I would now like to publicly and officially end my friendship with Ryan Judson. I would reccomend to all who read this to not befriend him, and to seriously consider your friendship if you are currently friends with him. It is not worth it. It's not that he's a bad person, because I still do think that deep down he means well. He's just crazy, and has no sense of what being a friend is (being HONEST, being able to TALK TO YOUR BEST FRIEND, not ALWAYS faking, PICKING UP A MOTHERFUCKING PHONE etc. etc. etc.) I am no longer Ryan J's friend. Is that immature to discuss on a livejournal? Probably. But not as immature as never picking up or calling back your best friend who was counting on and looking forward to a great day with his former best friend. Until I hear from him, he's dead to me. And even after that, I don't know if I ever want to be his friend again. What a shame. I hope that somehow this message gets relayed to him. I'm seriously upset. And I want to know what really happened. I want to know the truth. I deserve it.

School needs to end. Forever. Now.

Christ is risen!
A bad poem this is. -Yoda

Happiness all the time.
I love mommy!

Love your neighbor.
Elves make me toys at Christmas time!
Really, I was trying to work with juxtaposition with this acrostic poem.

"Hello all!

I'd like to announce that the following actors have been nominated for the Irene Ryan Scholarship through KCACTF. They have the opportunity to compete at our Regional Festival in January 2007.

Nominees:

Charlie Long
Bobby Libby
Lauren Pierce

Alternate (eligible to participate if a nominee decides not to attend):

Haily Wineland

On the Design/Tech side:

Daniel Rehbehn
[R.] Alex Kliner [on his first experience in sound design, or ANY design, ever!]

Have the opportunity to participate in the Barbizon Design Competition; and

Mary O'Connor is eligible for the Stage Management Competition.

Allison Murray may also present her work in the very new graphic design category.

Overall the respondants were very impressed with the show and had lots of good things to say about all aspects of it - design, tech and acting. However they have not held the show for consideration for inclusion in the Regional Festival. [But American Clock and Cat on a Hot Tin Roof went this past year? Whatevvvs I'm so over KCAC]

I'd like to say how proud I was of the work every student did on this production. Everyone grew leaps and bounds and showed impressive levels of courage, commitment, hard work, professionalism and talent.

Proud and deeply grateful,
Steve"
